LEADERSHIP ROUNDTABLE
Toastmasters Club
The Leadership Roundtable is an advanced Toastmasters Club that meets on the 1st Monday of the month at John's Shanghai Restaurant, 144 West 46th Street in Manhattan.
What is unique about our Club is that dinner is served during the meeting. So, members not only practice speaking, listening and leadership skills, but also learn to handle speaking with distractions!
Dinner is served family style and includes a delicious selection of Chinese delicacies.
The Leadership Roundtable was chartered in May 2001, with the goal of providing a forum for Toastmasters, with a CTM/CC or above, to practice advanced speeches. Our meetings usually revolve around a theme, for example TM protocol, developing leadership skills, and evaluations.
Why should you join an advanced club?
-
To give speeches from the advanced manuals that require more time.
-
To receive comprehensive evaluations and feedback.
-
To network with other advanced Toastmasters in a supportive environment.
The club meets once a month over dinner. Each meeting gives everyone an opportunity to practice conducting meetings, giving impromptu speeches, presenting prepared speeches, and offering constructive evaluation. Come see what we have to offer!
